what’s considered irrational? i’m assuming that everyone’s definition of irrationality is different, but it always boggles my mind when, for example, my mom yells at me for not knowing how to fill out her taxes when clearly i have not taken any accounting class in my life and had not even read the letter she received in the mail. i feel like i have changed a lot since summer definitely in my level of cynicism for this world, and that just really depresses me because i try to be an optimist. i mean, we live in a society where my peers have the potential to be some of the most successful people in the world, yet people can be so… irrational.

am i the irrational one? the selfish one, the one who looks down upon the nature of us humans? i’m so confused.
